Meetings and Awards

Our credit union chapter (The Piedmont Chapter) has its annual meeting last night and one of URW's "own" was elected Vice-President of the Chapter - Sherry Moore. Congratulations to Sherry. Sherry is the Office Manager for URW's Arnett Branch, and her main purpose is to provide excellent member service. We all appreciate her attitude and hard work! Laurie Moran, President of the Danville-Pittsylvania was the guest speaker and did a wonderful job speaking on community development and the relation to one's personal responsibilities, and business responsibilities.

URW was recently awarded the "Partner in Play" Award from the the City of Danville. On hand to receive the award from the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism was Sherry Moore and Suzine Bohannon.
